What better way to celebrate a milestone birthday than letting your little one eat cake and get messy! The idea, originating from America, has become hugely popular in the UK and we love capturing those ‘sweet tooth’ expressions. For those who do not like to get as messy, we also offer portrait style birthday sessions, a chance for your little one to put on their party clothes and have a bit of fun.

I have trained with some amazingly talented photographers, attended workshops all over the UK and as I continue to invest in myself and grow I look forward to creating magic moments with you.

Your Cake Smash & Birthday photoshoot experience
My cake smash and birthday sessions are set in the warmth and homeliness of my studio, with a very fun and exciting vibe. Prior to your session we will have discussed colour schemes and themes, so you will arrive with everything set up and ready to go. We usually start with some clean portrait images before the cake comes in to get messy! Bath splash finishes are an additional add on but always work well to clean off the sticky cake.
The session is held at my dedicated studio in Romford Essex

You will have a choice of 60-80 images to choose from in your reveal session
Final reveal takes place 2-3 weeks after your session

10/11 months is a great cake smash age. Please allow 3-4 weeks for final edits.

How it works
1
Contact and Book
Contact me and we will find a date that works for us both and your session fee is paid to secure your session.

Prepare
A few weeks prior to your shoot, you will receive an email with your Shoot Guide, detailing all the things you might need to prepare for your session and lots of handy tips on what to wear.

Photoshoot Day
The exciting step – the day of your session! This is also when your package cost is due.

Editing
After the session, I will begin work on your fabulous images and have your gallery ready to view within 2-3 weeks of your session (this is often less than, but in busy periods I cannot guarantee this).

The Reveal
You will come back to the studio for your Reveal session. Here you can select your final images and upgrade your package if you wish to do so.

Receive your pictures
With your final gallery decided, you will be sent your digital downloads to enjoy within a few days.
Need more? Any additional orders will be processed and delivered accordingly.

My studio
Set in the beautiful countryside of Havering-Atte-Bower, my studio has a home from home feel. You can sit back and relax on the sofa and watch as the session takes place before you.
Just a short distance from Gallows Corner, Romford, it is easily accessible via the A12 and A127. There is plenty of off road parking available making the start of your session easy and stress free.

Birthday & Cake Smash Pricing
A non-refundable session fee is required upon booking. This covers my time and years of experience in photographing newborns and families.
It does not include digital images or products.
Weekday session fee – £95
Weekend session fee – £125
(Suitable for babies 10+ months)
